It's a puzzle. No matter who you pick you are leaving quality on the bench.

Re: What is our best 1st XI now: 1: currently fit 2: when everyone is fot
Im glad Lanzini got picked on Saturday. I have faith in this bloke, i think he can be a real menace. Payet (even though i bloody missed him the first time round) is first on the list in midfield, then Kouyate and then Lanzini for me. The rest is a magic roundabout of players.

If we're setting up to play narrow then we can pack the midfield out with most of our players. But if we want width then the obvious choices are Lanzini and Moses

Poor old Sam, you have to wonder what he would have done with this pool of talent?

agree pervy its a right mind fcuk dont know really i like a lot of our players

who get dropped from obiang kouyate noble song i really like what i have seen of obiang so far

you have payet who is certain then lanzini moses antonio also in the mix. thought lanzini looked a right prospect on sat

then sakho and carroll up front really going to be one of them probably with jelavic on the bench

this all without valencia at the moment

atleast we are going to have a decent bench to change things around

Re: What is our best 1st XI now: 1: currently fit 2: when everyone is fot
I know Noble had a great game and he's the club captain but in all honesty it's most probably a choice of heart over head. Obiang and Kouyate would be interesting and maybe a rotation with Noble.

I left Song out too didn't I. Who do you play down the middle when Noble, Song, Kouyate, Obiang and Payet are all fit? Tough

Re: What is our best 1st XI now: 1: currently fit 2: when everyone is fot
The good point we can take from this is that maybe we don't have a nailed down best XI at the moment. What we do have is a lot of quality competition for almost every position in the side.

Which is brilliant.

I'm not sure I could categorically state a best XI. There are players we'd all put down, obviously, but now we have the luxury of tailoring our line up to the opposition and circumstances, and making sure we are a strong side week in week out without relying on any one player to do 90 minutes every game.

Re: What is our best 1st XI now: 1: currently fit 2: when everyone is fot
Oh my god...what an idiot. Of course Payet.

Payet instead of Obiang then. Even though i like him. But id like to see some width with Moses and Lanzini. Fuck me it's tough now we have talent, first 11 usually picks itself. Good position to be in.

My team isn't based on our win at Liverpool and it isn't based on current form you complete and utter dumb fuck.

Clearly it is based on who I think collectively makes the strongest and best team if everyone is fit and on their game.

In my team it is a toss up of Noble or Song and for me there is no contest. Song is in a different league to Noble.

I love Sakho, but if Carroll is fit and at his best then he is unplayable.

whufcroe 3:53 Tue Sep 1
Re: What is our best 1st XI now: 1: currently fit 2: when everyone is fot
Rodent doesn't even have Noble, the teams best player and Captain where he lead the side to the first win in 52 years on the bench

Pathetic fuckwit

If Noble plays week in week out like he did on Saturday then how could he be dropped? The same for the rest really?

All the new boys start on the bench along with Carroll and Jenkinson.

Football is about form which makes threads like this fucking retarded.
